Town of Byron Board Meeting

Byron Town Hall

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 

Attending:  Chairperson Bob Simon, Supervisors Lowell Boelk and David Whitty, and Clerk Kay Oestreich.

Chairman Bob Simon called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The road bids were opened at the June 14^th Board Meeting and the matter was tabled to allow more time to review the bids. Discussion followed regarding the bids from Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, Scott Construction Inc. and Struck & Irwin Paving, Inc. MOTION (Whitty, Simon) to Hire Struck & Irwin Paving Inc. to Spray Patch Hickory Road from County Road F to County Road Y and Spray Patch and Wedge Kelly Road from County Road F South to town line. Motion Carried with 2 ayes and 1 nay.

Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m. The Plan Commission Meeting then took place.

The meeting was again called to order at 8:45 p.m. with Matt Parmentier present. The Plan Commission made the following recommendations to the Board:

• The Plan Commission recommended adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Map.

MOTION (Boelk, Whitty) to adopt the Town of Byron Zoning Ordinance and Map. Carried

• The Plan Commission recommended adoption of the Adult-Oriented Establishments Ordinance. MOTION (Whitty, Boelk) to adopt the Adult-Oriented Establishments Ordinance with the change on page 10 a (1) change “residential zoning district” to residence and page 9 line 8 change “sixty to forty five. Carried

• The Plan Commission recommended adoption of the Town of Byron Subdivision and Land Division Ordinance. MOTION (Boelk, Whitty) to adopt the Town of Byron Subdivision and Land Division Ordinance. Carried.

Matt Parmentier will put together the necessary class I “Summary of the Ordinances” for posting. The meeting was adjourned.
